If you are looking for a hooded swimming towel, make sure the towelling is on both sides of the fabric so it is really absorbent and get one that is really generous so that there is plenty of fabric to get covered up, keeping you toasty warm. I have also seen many without arms, but I really think that is a bit pointless, because you want to cover your whole body, not just parts of it. Poncho towels are ok, but they are difficult to do things in because if you are trying to keep warm, you arms are restricted.
2. While holding the middle portion of the towel, squeeze it as hard as you can. Use 100% of your strength and remember this feeling for your reference.
Your finished towel wedding cakes will have to sit on something, and a pretty bath tray would be perfect. You might want to buy the tray before putting the towel cakes together to make sure of a good fit. You could also set the cake on a matching round bath mat or rug. Surround the cake with scented flower-shaped soaps. Tie a bow around the handle of a fancy pumice scrubber and lay it beside the towel cake as a "server."
